What is Internet? and How it works?

Today we will understand what internet is and how it works. So let' s start

To understand what is internet let's first see how actually internet works that will give you an overview of what internet is.

So to understand how it works let's take an example.

Imagine i made an application let's say it youtube , i coded for months on my computer and finally i made my own youtube.

Now, after creating my own youtube what i want, i want people to use that right? i didn't made it to keep it in a folder on my computer,, i want you to use that. 

let's say i have a big following and if i will say then people are ready to use it.

Now the problem is how should i share my application so that each users can use it, i can't share the my application to each user via wiffi right? 

Now to fix this problem what we will do here is we will keep this application on a computer at one place and i will tell all my followers to go to this address where my application is kept , to use it. 

Now here also we will face another problem is that if we kept my application on a computer then if computet gets shut down due to any reasons then users can't use that application. another problem we will face is traffic , if lots of people came to use it same time then we can't hadle it. 

 that's were a server came in.

server solves both problem effieciently it can hadle heavy traffic and also it will be live 27/7 without any interuption. that's why we will host our application to a server.

Now let's say we host it on a server and it has a address and nearby peoples came on that address and use our application. now what about people who lives far from server address how will they uses that , what about peoples from different states or different countries how will they use that .

To solve this problem , Internet service provider came into the picture . what it does is, it gives you a connection between your phone to that server via some kind of waves, i think radio waves that travel through one mobile towers to another towers.

and by this we can type the address of that server address and can access that application in our phones.

so when you type youtube.com in your phone youtube.com is nothing but just the address of the youtube server. now when you hit youtube.com then your requests travel through that mobile towers in between setup by your internet provider, and then goes to YouTube server there it grabs the YouTube code folder and comes back with that folder and then your Brower compile that code and show the youtube website to you.

Now you understand , i made a application and host it on a server and now by a phone and a internet connection you can access that application from anywhere .

now let's back to the first question what is internet , so internet is nothing but just the connection of every companies's application to every phone, internet is just the term of whole connection, connection to what, connection every platform like google, facebook to each people's phone.
